Jakob Schmid is a creative programmer focused on audio, as well as a electronic music composer. He has a master's degree in computer science from Aalborg University. Currently working on COCOON with Geometric Interactive (which he co-founded). In the period 2011-2016, he worked with Martin Stig Andersen on Playdead's critically acclaimed second game, 'INSIDE', released in 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and Steam.
He created the music and sound for colleague Jeppe Carlsen's game '140', which went on to win several awards including the 2013 Independent Games Festival award for 'Excellence in Audio'.
